Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park from Arusha town immediately after your breakfast.
Upon arrival in Tarangire National Park, check into your hotel and have some little time to relax.
Pack some energy snacks and safe drinking water for you during the day’s game drive as it might take you a whole day searching for wildlife.
Have your first game drive looking for diverse wildlife species such as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, baobab trees and numerous bird species like Ashy Starling, Red and yellow Barbet.
Have some time off your game drive within the wilderness for lunch and hydration before continuing with afternoon game viewing.
After your game drive, drive back to your hotel for dinner and later on relax for the following day.
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After your breakfast, drive from Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park.
On your way to the Serengeti areas, you will have an opportunity to experience the beautiful sceneries and wildlife sightings.
Check into your lodge upon arrival in Serengeti National Park and have some lunch.
Have an afternoon game drive across the savannah plains searching for the diverse wildlife species such as lions, elephants, wildebeests, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and other wildlife.
After the day’s activities, drive back to your lodge for supper.
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Wake up so early for breakfast before you hit the open grasslands and acacia trees for a full day exploration of Serengeti National Park.
We encourage you to pack some lunch in your small backpack and safe drinking water to keep you physically fit for the whole day.
Enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, with packed lunch enjoyed during the safari.
Explore the different areas based on wildlife movements and current sightings you are interested in such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and many bird species.
Serengeti National Park is famous for its large predator population like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, African dogs, Nile crocodiles and seasonal wildebeest migration.
After you game drives for the day, drive back to your lodge for supper and relax from fatigue.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early in the morning, conduct a game drive in Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge and check out for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
On your way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will encounter and enjoy scenic views and additional wildlife sightings.
Upon arrival at your lodge within or near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will check in and relax.
After your moment of relaxation, you will have lunch and a game drive for the afternoon.
After the game drive, enjoy your dinner and relax at your lodge near or within Ngorongoro.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater back to Arusha
After your morning breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for an early morning game drive.
Explore the crater floor, which supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife like lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, elands, gazelles, wildebeest, jackals, hippos, hyenas, flamingos and, with luck, black rhinoceros.
You will have enroute lunch at Five Chutneys on your way back to Arusha town.
Depending on road conditions, traffic and speed of the driver, you may reach Arusha in the afternoon or evening.
End of the safari.
